Go to 'iTunes store' in the left menu and make sure that you can now connect properly. Quit iTunes and launch it again – holding the 'option' key again also. This time click on 'Choose Library' and select your original 'iTunes' folder. This should launch iTunes again with all your music etc but also let you access the iTunes Music Store again.
